Ambre Royale specialises in the selection, sourcing and supply of distinctive raw materials for perfumery — natural extracts, absolutes, essential oils, resinoids and specialty materials — for perfumers, fragrance creators and independent brands.
What we do
We work with a small, deliberately limited catalogue rather than a broad one. Every reference is listed with its material type, its manufacturer, its country of origin and the documentation that exists for that specific lot. Where something has not been verified, the product page says so instead of leaving the gap unmarked.
Materials are sold from 1 g for evaluation up to complete lots. This suits the way most independent perfumers actually work: evaluate a gram, formulate with ten, and commit to a larger quantity only once the material has proved itself in a formula.

How we describe materials
Two kinds of information appear on every product page, and we keep them visibly separate.
Verifiable technical information — material type, manufacturer, country of origin, CAS number, assay, lot size, batch references, hazard classification. These come from manufacturer documentation. Where a value is not documented, the field reads “available on request” or “consult technical documentation” rather than being filled in from general knowledge.
Olfactory description — family, profile, facets, character, intensity, diffusion, tenacity. These are evaluative descriptions of how a material behaves, presented as indicative guidance. They are not laboratory specifications and are not presented as such.
We also distinguish between a trade designation and a documented origin. “Type Taïf”, for instance, describes an olfactory target, not a place of production — and the product page says exactly that.
What we do not claim
Ambre Royale is a sourcing and supply business. We do not operate a distillery, an extraction facility or a laboratory, and we do not present ourselves as a manufacturer. The materials we supply are made by the named manufacturers listed on each product page. We hold no certifications beyond what is stated on this site, and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise.
