Olfactory profile

The opening is dewy and green — a cool, almost transparent rose, lighter and less spiced than Anatolian material. The heart holds a clean honeyed sweetness with a faint citrus edge, and the waxy stearoptene fraction gives the same congealing behaviour common to all rose ottos. It dries down quietly to a soft rosy trace with very little residual weight, which is precisely what makes it useful where a rose has to stay luminous rather than settle.

The reference rose for compositions that need transparency. Works well as the natural signature within a larger rose accord built on synthetic bodies, and holds its own in modern, airy florals where a heavier absolute would flatten the top.

Adds naturalness, freshness and volume without weight. Opens up a floral heart and introduces a green facet that keeps sweeter constructions from turning syrupy.

Perfumer’s perspective

Choose this over the Anatolian distillation when the brief calls for a cool, luminous rose — spring rather than late summer. It is also the more forgiving of the two in light floral structures, where the spiced Turkish character can read as too assertive.
