You can contact Ambre Royale to request additional information about any material — availability, documentation, specifications and origin — before you buy. This page explains what exists, what does not, and how we handle the difference.
Our rule on documentation
We supply only documents that actually exist for the lot in question. We do not claim that every material carries every document, and we do not substitute a document from a different batch or a different producer to fill a gap. If a document cannot be obtained, we will tell you so.
Documentation that may be available
Depending on the material and the manufacturer, the following can be requested. Availability is stated on each individual product page.
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
- Certificate of Analysis (COA)
- IFRA statement
- Allergen declaration
- Technical specification
- Certificate of origin
- Batch and lot information
- CITES documentation, where the material is regulated
What is documented today
A few examples, so that “on request” does not sound like a way of avoiding the question:
- Rose Bulgaria Absolute — manufacturer SDS on file (Robertet, rev. 25/09/2025), product code 00322535, batch 3451773. CAS 8007-01-0.
- Agarwood / Oud Oil — Laos “Palao 2” — full CITES documentation on file: Charge 0000195580, Ref. F0037/1001192, Batch 0322/1.
- Leather Oud — hazard classification on file (H314, H412); Caryophyllene declared as an allergen; manufacturer product code 1002426.
- 2-Isobutyl-3-Methoxypyrazine — CAS 24683-00-9, FEMA 3132, assay >99% per manufacturer specification.
What is not yet confirmed
Four references currently carry an open question, and each product page states it plainly rather than in a footnote:
- Iris China Butter Absolute 8% — we are awaiting the COA to confirm whether “8%” refers to irone content or to dilution. These are not equivalent in use.
- Natural Raspberry Ketone — production route (extraction or bioconversion) under verification with the manufacturer.
- Rose Bulgaria Absolute — best-before date expired November 2024; condition to be re-confirmed before a firm order.
- Leather Oud — best-before date on the current batch has passed; fresh stock being confirmed. Not accepting firm orders until resolved.
We would rather list these openly than quietly ship material whose specification we cannot stand behind.
Regulated materials
Two references are CITES-regulated: Civet — Civette Extra and Agarwood / Oud Oil — Laos. For both, documentation is supplied by the seller, and we confirm the destination country and applicable paperwork before dispatch. Import compliance in the destination country remains the responsibility of the buyer. If we believe a shipment cannot lawfully be made to your jurisdiction, we will say so before invoicing.
Oakmoss INCO 20 Low Atranol is an IFRA-restricted material supplied in a low-atranol quality. The reduced atranol content does not remove the restriction; the current IFRA Standard sets maximum use levels by product category, and compliance remains the responsibility of the formulator.
Olfactory descriptions
Every product page separates verifiable technical data from olfactory description. Olfactory profiles, facets, character and the intensity / diffusion / tenacity indicators are evaluative and indicative — useful for deciding whether a material suits your brief, but not laboratory specifications and not presented as such.

Write to info@ambreroyale.de naming the material and the document you need, or use the contact form. We normally reply within 1–2 business days. There is no obligation to buy in order to ask.
