Olfactory profile

Cleaner and more directly violet-facing than the concrete or the resinoid — the alcohol washing removes the waxes, leaving the irone character more exposed. The opening is soft and slightly green, moving to a powdery violet heart with a dry woody floor. Chinese-origin iris material is generally read as somewhat lighter and less earthy than Grasse-processed European iris, though this is a tendency rather than a rule and varies by lot.
