House Accords
Every raw material in our catalog exists to become something greater - and here, we've taken that idea to its conclusion.
House Accords are AmbreRoyale's own compositions: concentrated blends built from the same absolutes, resinoids and rare materials we source for perfumers around the world, brought together in-house into finished accords with their own character and name.
Each blend begins as an experiment on the bench - a pairing of notes that felt worth pursuing past the first trial. What you find here are the ones that earned a name.
These are concentrates, not finished perfumes, supplied at full strength for you to dilute to your own preferred wear, or to use as a foundation within a larger composition of your own.
How to dilute
House Accords are supplied undiluted, at full concentration - the same way we would hand a sample to another perfumer. To wear one, dilute it in perfumer's-grade ethanol (or a light carrier oil, for an oil-based finish) according to the strength you prefer:
- Eau de Toilette style: roughly 8-12% concentrate in alcohol
- Eau de Parfum style: roughly 15-20% concentrate in alcohol
- Extrait / Parfum style: roughly 20-30% concentrate in alcohol
Start conservatively and build up - concentration preference is personal, and a good accord should be adjusted to taste. Let the diluted blend rest for at least 48 hours before your first wear; the marriage between alcohol and concentrate softens with a short maceration.
As with all our materials, this is a professional-grade concentrate, not a finished cosmetic product. Never apply undiluted directly to the skin.
